Terms of Service
Effective date: July 12, 2026
Terms version: 2026-07-12
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the User’s access to and use of the Faresight mobile application and related services (the “Service”), operated by VibeCore Digital, a sole proprietorship of Shadman Ahmed (“Faresight”, the “Company”, “we”, or “us”), of Coach House, 19359 72 Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia V4N 5X9, Canada. Please read them carefully. They are written in plain language and do not take away any rights the User has under British Columbia consumer-protection law.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By tapping “I agree”, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, the User confirms that they have had a genuine opportunity to read these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and agrees to be bound by them.
The full text of these Terms is presented to the User before any account is created
and before any purchase is made, and remains available at any time inside the app
(Settings → Terms of Service) and at
https://faresight.ca/terms.html. The User may decline, in which case
they should not use the Service.
The User must be at least the age of majority in their province or territory (19 in British Columbia), or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to enter into these Terms.
2. Nature of the Service
Faresight is an informational flight-price analytics tool. It monitors publicly available flight-price data for routes the User chooses to track and surfaces estimates and alerts to help the User decide when to research a booking elsewhere.
All flight bookings are made by the User directly with an airline or a third-party travel vendor, on that vendor’s own website and under that vendor’s own terms. Faresight is not a party to, and has no responsibility for, any transaction between the User and any vendor or airline.
3. Algorithmic Estimates & Assumption of Risk
The prices, the Price Health Score, the “book now / wait” verdicts, and any Faresight Pro price forecast are probabilistic algorithmic estimates generated from historical and recently observed data. They are predictions and comparisons, not quotes, offers, guarantees, or professional advice.
- No real-time inventory. Faresight does not have access to airlines’ live reservation systems, fare classes, or seat inventory. Estimates may lag, differ from, or be superseded by the actual price shown at the point of sale.
- The Price Health Score is a historical comparison. It expresses how the current observed price compares to that route’s recent price history (for example, its 90-day range). It is not a prediction that a price will or will not change, and a “good” score is not a recommendation to purchase.
- Forecasts are estimates. Any forward-looking price forecast expresses a modelled likelihood only. Actual prices are set by airlines and vendors and can move at any time for reasons the model cannot see.
4. Third-Party Vendors & Affiliate Disclosure
The Service links out to airlines and third-party travel vendors so the User can research or complete a booking. Those websites and services are operated independently and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Faresight does not control and is not responsible for their prices, fees, taxes, availability, content, or conduct.
Any price shown next to a vendor link is an estimate for informational purposes and may differ from the vendor’s final checkout price. The final price, including all taxes and fees, is the price the vendor displays at the point of sale.
5. Faresight Pro — Subscriptions, Billing & Digital Consumption
Faresight offers optional paid subscriptions (“Faresight Pro”) that unlock
additional features. Pro is offered as a monthly plan (PRO_MONTHLY)
and an annual plan (PRO_YEARLY).
5.1 Billing through Google Play
Subscriptions are sold and billed through the User’s Google Play account. Payment is charged to that account at confirmation of purchase. Prices, applicable taxes, and the billing period are shown to the User before purchase (see the pre-purchase disclosure) and are also governed by Google Play’s terms.
5.2 Auto-renewal and cancel-anytime
Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless the User turns off auto-renewal. The User may cancel at any time, without penalty, through Google Play (Play Store → Subscriptions → Faresight). After cancellation, Pro access continues until the end of the period already paid for, and the subscription does not renew again.
5.3 Digital good delivered and consumed on unlock
Faresight Pro is a digital good that is delivered and consumed immediately upon unlock. Once a subscription is activated and the Pro features become available on the User’s device, the digital content has been supplied and consumed for the then-current period. This does not limit the statutory rights described in section 5.5.
5.4 Advance renewal notice Annual plans only
For the annual plan (PRO_YEARLY), because its term exceeds 60 days,
the Company will send the User a renewal reminder between 30 and 60 days before each
automatic renewal, at the email associated with the account, so the User has a clear
opportunity to cancel before being charged again.
5.5 British Columbia cancellation & refund rights
Annual plans only If the User cancels the annual plan after it has automatically renewed, the Company will provide a refund of the unused portion of the renewed term, prorated to the cancellation date, and will issue that refund within 15 days of the cancellation. Where Google Play cannot process such a prorated refund automatically, the User may request it directly from the Company at [email protected] and the Company will honour it. Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time without penalty, with access continuing to the end of the paid period.
Nothing in this section limits any additional refund or cancellation right the User has under the British Columbia Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act or under Google Play’s policies.
5.6 Distance-sales disclosure & contract copy
Before the User is charged, the Company discloses the itemized price (in the User’s local currency as shown in Google Play at checkout, including any applicable tax — for users in Canada, in Canadian dollars including GST/PST), payment terms, the cancellation and refund policy, and a description of what Pro provides (see the pre-purchase disclosure in Appendix A). After purchase, the User receives a copy of the transaction from Google Play; the User may also request a copy of this contract from the Company within 15 days at [email protected].
6. Authorized Amendments to these Terms
The Company may need to update these Terms from time to time. To keep any changes fair and predictable, the following provisions — and only the following provisions — are the ones the Company may amend after the User has agreed:
- the description of features included in the Service or in Faresight Pro;
- the list of third-party vendors and affiliate partners;
- acceptable-use rules;
- contact details, support channels, and administrative or clarifying wording; and
- changes required to comply with law or with Google Play policies.
For any significant change, the Company will give the User between 30 and 60 days’ advance notice (in-app and/or by email), state the effective date, and give the User the right to cancel the subscription before the change takes effect if the User does not accept it. If the User continues to use the Service after the effective date, the updated Terms apply. Each version of these Terms carries a version identifier (see the top of this page), and the app records which version the User accepted.
7. Acceptable Use
The User agrees not to:
- use the Service in violation of any law or airline/vendor terms;
- scrape, harvest, resell, or redistribute the Service’s data or estimates, or build a competing dataset from them;
- access the Service through automated means beyond normal personal app use, or attempt to overload, probe, or circumvent its systems or security;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law; or
- misrepresent identity, infringe others’ rights, or interfere with other users’ use of the Service.
The Company may suspend or terminate access that breaches these Terms, subject to the User’s statutory rights and to any refund owed for a paid period not delivered.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including the Faresight name and logo, the app, the Price Health Score methodology, and all software, text, and design, is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. The User is granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Airline names, vendor names, and their marks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all estimates, scores, verdicts, and forecasts are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss arising from the User’s reliance on an estimate, a price difference at checkout, a missed or changed fare, or a vendor’s or airline’s acts or omissions. Where the Company is found liable for direct damages, its total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount the User paid the Company for Faresight Pro in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) CAD $50.
10. Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
The Company and the User submit to the courts of British Columbia. For eligible consumer disputes, the User may also bring a claim before British Columbia’s Civil Resolution Tribunal (CRT), which can resolve many small claims (currently up to CAD $5,000) online and can award remedies under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act.
We would rather resolve things directly. The User is encouraged to contact [email protected] first so we can try to help.
11. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected]. The Service is operated by VibeCore Digital (Shadman Ahmed), Coach House, 19359 72 Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia V4N 5X9, Canada.
